Discussion between the US Secretary of State, US Ambassador to the UK and the British Prime Minister along with FO Official Ivone Kirkpatrick in regards to the rapidly evolving war situation. Reference was made to the situation in Finland, its impact on Soviet-German relations, and the importance of teh French and the British response to the Germans in halting its aggressive poisturing. They also discussed the possibility of the British and French guaranteeing that they would not attack Germany first, the lack of confidence the British Prime Minister had in the political style of Herr Hitler, and teh belief that Il Duce had in resolving any conflict between the countries.
