Masters thesis, Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, School of Advanced Study, University of London.
This dissertation examines the parliamentary system and constitution in Saint Lucia. The author explains how they are intended to operate and argues that there are now, in the application of the constitution, serious deficiencies, which give rise to the concerns of the electorate and widespread belief that the constitution leads to governments that once elected are beyond popular restraint or influence.
